Most careers develop in a single direction. Over thirty years, Ty Hopkins has built verifiable, senior-level experience across several demanding disciplines simultaneously — not as a generalist casting wide, but as a principal trusted with consequential work in each one.

In security, that began in the mid-1990s across the full breadth of the industry — door supervision, event and venue security, corporate environments, studio protection and surveillance operations. From 2003, an independent security company serving major corporate clients including MTVNE, building the operational depth and client infrastructure that supported a transition into UHNW and executive protection from around 2008 onwards.

In film and television, it means production-level accountability on major releases — including two separate productions that reached number one on Netflix in two different markets. A licensed armourer and production supervisor whose credits reflect the trust placed in serious people on serious projects.

Alongside that, the development of multiple independent digital platforms and proprietary intelligence tools — built in-house, without external dependency, to solve real operational problems.

Security
A career that began in the mid-1990s across the full range of the industry — door supervision, event and venue security, corporate environments, studio protection and surveillance operations. Armourer on Run Away, which reached number one on Netflix UK in 2025. Responsible for all weapons handling, safety protocols and technical accuracy on set. A role that carries legal accountability alongside creative responsibility — and one that cannot be held without the authorisation to do so.

Film
Production supervisor on Son of the Soil — a Nigerian feature with cinematic release across multiple countries and number one on Netflix Nigeria. Operational and logistical responsibility for the production itself, delivered in an international environment with its own distinct demands.
